Ugh, so late with posting this. So late, in fact, that it's past the date I'm due to write next month's entry. However, I've just put together a photo book of Daisy's second year and it was really helpful to go back through the blog and remind myself of what she learned to do and when, so I'll jot a few things down here, if only to jog my memory when I'm doing next year's book :).
She runs everywhere now. Never walks. Why walk when you can run?
She says 'There we go' after she puts anything down.
Her favourite song at the moment is the Hokey Cokey. 'Ohhhh, okey okey okey.... knees bend rah rah rah!' No video yet - working on it.
If something needs cleaning, it goes in the 'washing madryer'.
Jon does bath time, then I go upstairs with milk to do stories and bed. When I get there, Daisy is sitting on Jon's lap in the chair in her room and Jon is usually combing her hair. When she sees me, she says 'Hello Mummy. You sit in the chair.' So Jon gets up and I sit down and he puts Daisy on my lap, then she points to the landing just outside her bedroom door and says 'And now, Dee go over there.'
It was Mum & Dad's Ruby Wedding this past month, and we all went up to celebrate with them. Here's Daisy explaining what happened...
And a picture of said beautiful dress...
And finally, here's a quick rendition of 'Old McDonald' before Harry and his Nonna knock at the door...
