Saturday 22 September
Jon and I went to Brighton this afternoon; he's staying for a couple of nights to go to the Lib Dem Party Conference. He went to the rally this evening before we met up with some friends for dinner, and as I didn't have a conference pass and I'd never been to Brighton before, I went to find its most famous building, the pavilion.
Sunday 23 September
When we woke up this morning it was already raining, and it didn't stop all day. I travelled home on the train this afternoon, but by the time I got to Brighton Station the rain had already gone through my shoes and socks and I spent nearly four hours with wet feet :(. I resolved to get straight in my pyjamas when I got home, but before I did I had to empty the bins, and I found this outside the back door. I had to take a picture of it straight away as I knew I was going to destroy it getting to the bins...
Monday 24 September
After I picked up Daisy at lunchtime we had a fairly relaxed afternoon playing at home. She picked up the AppleTV remote, gave me the satellite remote and told me to 'talk to me on the phone' :).
Tuesday 25 September
I love how casual she looks in this shot.
Wednesday 26 September
A friend gave me some little medicine cups the other day and as Daisy was a bit snotty today I gave her some medicine, which up to now hasn't been a pleasurable experience for anyone. Not only did she drink the medicine straight down, she asked for more and cried when I said no :).
Thursday 27 September
After she got back from nursery today, Daisy wanted to play on the slide. It had been raining so the slide was wet. She asked Jon for a towel ('Towel, please, Dee') then I held my hand out to take it from her and she said 'No Mummy do', and cleaned the slide herself :).
Friday 28 September
This week was clearly a week for asserting her independence. 'I put my boots on all by myself!'
